Amalia Pyne Sykes

Amy worked for 16 years at The Pyne Companied, Ltd, a real estate investment and consultancy firm in New York. She was responsible for all of the day to day operations of commercial and retail assets for their portfolio in New York, New Jersey and Virginia which was approximately 450,000 square feet. Responsibilities included leasing, management, financing, and capital improvement projects. She was instrumental in the sale and disposition of over $70 MM of real estate.

Amy is currently providing asset management services running a portfolio of approximately 370 mutli-family apartments in Colorado and Kentucky.

She was also responsible for shareholder relations and assited in the asset management of retail properties held in a Bahamian real estate fund. She began her career at JPMorgan Private Bank where she worked on prospecting, investor relations and servicing the portfolios of high net worth individuals throughout the Latin American market.

Amy and her brother Rawleigh joined forces in 2019 and created Abiete to invest in an often overlooked sector of the market: under managed complexes in secondary US markets.

Amy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Vanderbilt University, she currently lives in Mill Valley, CA with her husband and 2 sons.
